The Arab Private University for Science and Technology participated in the activities of the third scientific week organized by the Syrian Oil Company over five days, which included various lectures in the fields of oil, gas, geology and mineral wealth.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Masri, Vice President of the Arab Private University (Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering) participated in a lecture entitled: "Study of the possibility of improving the performance and effectiveness of the Syrian pylon used in oil and gas well drilling fluids" and Dr. Adnan Oweijan, a member of the university faculty, in a lecture entitled: "Oil subsidized investment methods and the possibility of applying them in Syrian fields".
Dr. Firas Kaddour, Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, stressed the importance of the participation of public and private universities in such scientific events that would present research and ideas that would help solve the issues of the oil industry and contribute to the development of the oil and gas sector due to its great importance in the national economy, pointing out the importance of linking the university with society through its competencies and expertise.
The lecturers were honored in recognition of their efforts in making the scientific week a success.
