Dr. Mustafa Al-Masry, Vice President of the Arab University for Science and Technology, met with new students at the College of Translation and Languages. This meeting comes within the framework of the National Union of Syrian Students' plan, which aims to communicate with new students in all university colleges and inform them of the opportunities and challenges they may face during their academic careers.
In this context, Dr. Al-Masry highlighted the university's distinction from other private universities through the inclusion of a translation major within its colleges, which provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their language skills. He emphasized the importance of investing in learning a second language, as languages represent a new window to knowledge and open broad horizons for students to discover diverse cultures. He also pointed out that mastering multiple languages enhances their opportunities in the job market, which contributes to strengthening their competitive position in various professional fields.
