Discussions and arbitration of graduation projects for students of the College of Petroleum Engineering were held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Adnan Younis, President of the University, Dr. Eng. Mustafa Al-Masry, Vice President of the University and Dean of the College of Petroleum Engineering, and the college's teaching staff.
The students presented the results of their projects before specialized arbitration committees. The scientific discussions were characterized by transparency and clarity, highlighting several observations that reinforced the positive outcomes of the projects.
In general, the projects yielded positive results, highlighting the importance of the information students received while studying the college's scientific courses and linking them to the practical field reality of the oil and gas industry in Syrian fields. This was achieved through topics with a practical aspect that demonstrated the university's close connection to society, and topics with a laboratory aspect, in which students used the college's laboratory equipment to obtain results worthy of interest and application in the field. Some of the projects featured innovative and creative device designs that are important to the petroleum industry.
We wish our students success in their professional lives and in contributing to the reconstruction of our beloved country, Syria.
