Synthesis of two ethylene derivatives from hydroxy coumarin

Abstract:

In this research, two new coumarin compounds were synthesized according to two stages. in the first stage, 7-hydroxy4-methyl coumarin (7-Hydroxy4-methyl coumarin)(A) was synthesized as a stating compound according to beckman condensation.

In the second phase, the first derivative 7-iso-propoxy 4-methyl coumarin (7-iso-propexy 4-methyl coumarin) (B) was synthesized based on the interaction of (A) with the compound isobromine propane. 1.3-phenylenebis (methylene) bis (4-methyl-2H) bis (4-methyl-2H) 7.7' - ((1.3-phenylenebis(methylene) bis (oxy)) di (oxy). chromen-2-one) (C) based on the reaction of compound (A) with 1.3 dichlorbenzoyl in the presence of a catalyst of (N (Et) 4Br).

the structure of the compounds of the chemical components of these pure derivatives was confirmed by various spectroscopy methods such as infrared (IR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (H-NMR) spectroscopy. A biological study of the two compounds was also conducted on the bacterium Escherichia colispectroscopy.
