* The College of Informatics Engineering, in cooperation with UNICEF and the National Union of Syrian Students, organized a group of workshops as part of the project to educate young people about their choices and help them learn the necessary tools to reach correct job options that guide them to a better professional life around the axis of job opportunities, with different ideas summarized in the following titles , presented by each of the respected professors:

• The basics of effective communication in the labor market: Amer Bachouri   

Students and youth from various Hama universities participated.

We wish them success in finding job opportunities that will help them build a promising professional life.

* The Arab Private University was established in coordination with the Faculty of Informatics Engineering and in cooperation with the National Union of Students

A workshop entitled (Entering the programming labor market) with the aim of strengthening the university’s role in working as a link between graduates and the labor market and by providing services and supporting graduates in all available ways to provide the best job opportunities and achieve integration with civil society institutions in the public and private sectors.

During which the lecturer, Engineer Amr Al-Droubi, answered the students’ questions and motivated them to choose methods that support them in their future.

* On 5/2/2023, Mrs. Dr. Yusr Al-Sayyid Suleiman Al-Atassi gave a lecture on deep learning.

This lecture aims to introduce the science of deep learning, which is considered an important part of the science of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and its most important applications such as: face recognition, emotion recognition, design of some drugs, medical diagnosis, electronic commerce..

The types of learning and the focus on supervised learning were also clarified.

After that, the doctor explained the structure of the biological neuron and compared it with the artificial neuron and explained the general structure of the multi-layer neural network. She began by reviewing some basic deep networks such as the convolutional neural network (CNN).

The doctor explained the structure of this network, the types of layers that make up it, and the most important applications such as image classification, skin disease classification, and object detection. After that, she reviewed recursive networks (RNNs) and their applications such as price prediction and text completion. She also explained the problems that these networks suffer from and the ways to address them, such as Using LSTM networks for long short-term memory. Finally, the doctor explained the short-term memory gates, their features, and their most important applications, such as the automatic generation of image tags. Caption Generator
