To achieve quality in the architectural integration of Photovoltaic cells certain requirements need to be fulfilled. The global integration quality depends not merely on module shape, size and colour but also on all the following characteristics such as:
- Field size and position of Photovoltaic cells.
- Materials and surface texture.
- Colour of the cells.
- Shape and size of the modules.
- Type of jointing.
- Multifunctional elements.
For successful integration, above mentioned characteristics must all be coherent with the overall building design logic.
