320 samples of sheep faeces in Kafr El-sheikh area (Egypt). were examined to explore the prevalence percentage of Eimeria-spp infection which causes coccidiosis in sheep and the relation of infection with animal age and breeding system Data showed that the prevalence percentage of Eimeria-spp infection was 71.56% in mixed aged sheep while the prevalence of infection increased to 76.15% in animals aged until 6 months moreover, the prevalence percentage was 68.42 % in animals aged more than 6 months and was 32% in animals aged lower one month. The data showed the prevalence of infection in different breeding system (closed, semiopened and opened) was 80 % -78,57% - 56,19% respectively.
Nein Eimeria-spp were found and the prevalence percentage of Eimeria ovinoidalis was 62, 18% and 50. 62% for Eimeria ahsata and 48.43% for Eimeria prava and followed with low percentage of prevalence.
Concentrated flotation test was used to diagnose the oocysts of Eimeria- spp. However, the data also showed the effective treatment of Amprolium and sulfonamid (Sulfaqinoxalin-Na, Sulfadimidin-Na and Sulfadiasin-Na) to Eimeria sheep infection, counting oocysts (OPG) in 1g sheep faeces was applied before and after the above treatment with McMaster- ethod.
