Modern technology has imposed new and developed materials that can be used to achieve more beneficial outcomes by providing higher aesthetics and a better internal environment as well as being more sustainable and more energy efficient. Environmental considerations are one of the greatest determinants of creating a sustainable and distinct product from traditional products simultaneously, The fact that most of the environmental treatments in the products of traditional architecture result from experimentation and use within the limits of the available materials, and these treatments less energy consumption than the prevailing mechanical treatments, such as conditioning. Considering that commercial centers are among the most energy- consumption buildings, the research focused on highlighting the most important technologies used in the commercial centers which helped increase the environmental efficiency of these centers and their compatibility with the environment by analyzing examples of commercial centers that achieved part of the concepts of sustainability Characterized by their successful performance in their built environments, and the analysis of their technological components invested according to environmental considerations in order to open wider horizons in how to achieve sustainable and contemporary commercial centers at the same time.
