The problem of corrosion at the present time is considered as big problem because of that the growing use of metals and alloys in the present life. In many cases, the surface corrosion-resistant and the most important factor for this technique was used (electrochemical deposition) that allows the qualitative improvement of the surface of the metal without changing its mechanical properties.
This study aims to deposition of chromium on the steel surface coating this process takes for two (60min), using the concentration of chromium oxide, 250gr/L and the ratio of sulfuric acid to chromium oxide (1%) at a temperatures (20-60oC) and the severity of the current (8-16-32A / dm2).
And then study some of the factors affecting the chrome plating process after chrome deposition such as the impact of each article irritating and temperature and the intensity of electric current.
It was found that the increase of both the concentration of the irritating (NaF) and the intensity of the power supply has increased coating thickness, and that the best layer was between (8-16A /dm2), and at high values of the intensity of the current rise in the temperature of the solution Alkahrliti and boiling it due to very high ions the movement and the collision between them.
It was to get the best coating layer at temperatures fall within the domain [43-47 oC], and increasing temperature above this area is reduced payoff paint even the degree of access to 60 oC do not get paint.
