Based on the university's desire to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between the university and the commercial and production sectors affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce, and based on the third function of higher education, which is to serve the community and open up to the productive, social, cultural, and local market sectors, and based on the meeting held with the Chamber's Board of Directors on October 15, 2024, the two parties announced their desire to conclude an agreement according to the following items:
- The university will conduct training courses for students at the end of the academic year for a period of one month in sectors determined by the affiliated chamber. The student may receive a nominal fee as an incentive.
- The university will adopt scientific research presented by the chamber, which will raise the level of local trade, provided that the sponsor provides the basic requirements for the research and enables the chamber to review research and studies in the commercial field, which will support the chamber's scientific library.
- Cooperation between the two parties in the field of scientific translation of publications The catalogs provided by the Chamber, which aim to develop local trade in line with global trade development.
- A 20% discount is calculated on non-medical college fees for children of members of the General Assembly of the Hama Chamber of Commerce. A 10% discount is also calculated on university housing fees, with a 50% discount for the student who achieves first place, 25% for the student who achieves second place, and 20% for the student who achieves third place in the general secondary certificate in the city of Hama.
- Both parties are permitted to conduct the required advertising after reviewing and approving its content by both parties.
- The university provides the required spaces (halls, library, auditorium, etc.) to hold exhibitions proposed by the Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the university presidency.
