International agreements and memoranda of understanding

Based on the university's desire to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between the university and the commercial and production sectors affiliated with the Chamber of Industry, and based on the third function of higher education, which is to serve the community and open up to the production, social, cultural, and local market sectors, and based on the meeting held with the Chamber's Board of Directors on October 15, 2024, the two parties announced their desire to conclude an agreement according to the following items:

• The university will conduct scientific trips to the sectors affiliated with the Chamber, during which students can view production lines and enhance the practical aspect.
• The university will conduct training courses for students at the end of the academic year for a period of one month in the sectors identified by the affiliated Chamber, for which the student may receive a nominal fee as an incentive.
• The university will adopt scientific research proposed by the Chamber, which will raise the level of local industry, provided that the sponsor provides the basic requirements for the research and enables the Chamber to view On industrial research and studies that would support the Chamber's scientific library.
• The two sides will cooperate in the field of scientific translation of publications and catalogs provided by the Chamber, which would develop local industry in line with global industrial development.
• The university will conduct laboratory tests and scientific consultations requested by the Chamber, according to a fee agreed upon by both parties.
• A 20% discount will be applied to non-medical college fees for children of members of the General Assembly of the Hama Chamber of Industry, as well as a 10% discount on university housing fees, 50% for students who achieve first place, 25% for students who achieve second place, and 20% for students who achieve third place in the general secondary school certificate in the city of Hama.
• Both parties will be permitted to conduct the required advertising after reviewing it and approving its content by both parties.
• The university will provide the required spaces/hallways - Library - Amphitheater... / To hold exhibitions proposed by the Chamber of Industry in coordination with the university presidency.
