In a move aimed at enhancing the educational experience and broadening the horizons of its students, the College of Pharmacy at the Arab University for Science and Technology organized a scientific trip for fifth-year students to the Riva Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Factory in Idlib Governorate.
The Riva Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Factory is considered one of the leading companies established during the Syrian revolution and has achieved widespread recognition as one of the most prominent success stories of this historical period.
The students were accompanied during this scientific trip by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Manhal Tulaymat, and Dr. Jumana Al-Kurdi, Vice Dean of the College. The visit included a tour of the laboratory facilities, where the students had the opportunity to learn about drug manufacturing processes and the professional practices used in this vital sector.
Dr. Tulaymat emphasized the importance of such visits in enhancing academic understanding and applying theoretical knowledge in a practical environment, praising the progress achieved by the Riva Laboratory in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The Arab University for Science and Technology shield was presented to Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein, Director General The Dean of the College also stated that the Arab University for Science and Technology seeks to enable its students to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to face the challenges of the job market after graduation and to stimulate the spirit of innovation and initiative in their future fields.
