As part of its vision to prepare a creative, technological generation that is ready to meet the demands of the future, the College of Information Engineering at the Arab University for Science and Technology organized an interactive workshop titled "Interacting with Artificial Intelligence" this morning, Monday, May 19, 2025, on the university stage in the Medical Clinics Building.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) through practical activities and stimulating group challenges. The workshop also discussed the impact of these technologies on society and the labor market, and reviewed innovative projects and successful global models.
University President, Professor Adnan Younis, highlighted the importance of holding such activities, stating that the university pays special attention to interactive technical activities that contribute to empowering students with the tools of the future. He added that this workshop represents a practical step towards enhancing analytical thinking and innovation skills, which contributes to preparing our students for leadership in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technology.
The workshop witnessed great interaction from the students, who expressed their enthusiasm for participating in its sessions and group challenges, in an educational experience that combined inspiration and practical application, and consolidated the university's position as an institution that seeks to empower its students with future skills.
The workshop was attended by a number of administrative and academic figures at the university, including Professor Khaled Khanjar, Financial Supervisor and Administrative Director, and Professor Rashid Barazi, Director of Cultural Relations, in addition to the Deanship of the College of Information Engineering. The attendees praised the workshop's content and the students' positive interaction with it.
