A model for studying the behavior of liquid drops in an aerodynamic levitation process was presented. In this model the equations of motion for the flow past spherical and non-spherical drops were solved. A finite element analysis code developed by Fluid Dynamics International Inc. named FIDAP was used to assist in the modeling process.
