In this research, the inputs and outputs of any production system were determined by studying the current defective rates through appropriate quality control charts, the use of mathematical quantitative methods, including the Markov model so that we can predicts future defective rates.
A mathematical methodology was adopted that starts with analyzing the inputs and outputs of a production system and recording the actual defective percentages during a certain period of time, using the appropriate quality control charts for each case, and then taking the advantage of the actual defective percentages to reach the transition probability matrix for each case and thus the final merger matrix for all cases, and to predict the expected total defective percentages for the next period.
