Graduation projects for students of the College of Chemical Industries Engineering were discussed during the period from 6/29 to 7/1 under the sponsorship of Dr. Adnan Younis, President of the Arab Private University for Science and Technology . The project titles were closely related to the various fields of chemical industry engineering, including some that dealt with some modern technological fields such as nanotechnology and composite materials, and some that had a role in the field of the environment and alleviating environmental pollution. Most of the projects included laboratory and experimental work, and some included the design of innovative devices. The Deanship of the College extends its thanks to the University Presidency and its administrations, the Student Union Branch, and the Media Office for the efforts made to present and discuss the projects.

All thanks to the university presidency and administration, the student union branch, the student body in the college, the college secretariat, and the media office for their efforts to make these discussions a success.

Discussions and judging of graduation projects for students of the College of Petroleum Industries Engineering were held on Saturday 6/22/2024 under the supervision of Dr. Adnan Younis, President of the University and Dr. Engineer Mustafa Al-Masry Vice President of the University, Dean of the College of Petroleum Industries Engineering, and the educational staff at the college. The students presented the results of their projects before the competent arbitration committees, and the scientific discussions were characterized by transparency and clarity by highlighting some observations that enhance the positive results of the projects. In general, the projects had positive results that highlight the importance of the information that students received while studying scientific courses in the college and linking it to the applied field reality of the oil and gas industry in the Syrian fields, through topics with an applied aspect. Which demonstrated the close connection between the university and society, and topics related to the laboratory aspect during which the students used laboratory devices and equipment in the college to obtain results worthy of attention and application in the field reality. Some projects included designing devices of a creative and innovative nature that are important in the oil industry.

The Deanship of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at the Arab Private University for Science and Technology organized, yesterday, Friday, 5/24/2024, an exhibition of graduation projects entitled: (The Empower Engineering Expo) With the aim of highlighting the students’ final outputs, presenting their projects, and having them evaluated by interested experts and professionals, inside the theater lobby at the university. The exhibition was accompanied by the judging of student projects. The exhibition included several projects that included innovative ideas aimed at presenting solutions to daily life problems for different sectors of life and solving various problems in a modern way that uses advanced methods such as the uses of artificial intelligence and available modern technologies The exhibition comes within the role of the College of Information Engineering to contribute to achieving the university’s plan, by building a distinguished system for the student experience, by linking activities accompanying academic courses and extracurricular student activities with a focus on developing student capabilities and supporting student successes. Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Arab Private University for Science and Technology held the second scientific conference on dentistry under the title Modern Dentistry in Cosmetic and Clinical Practice. The conference lasted for three days, starting from April 19 until April 21. Accepted 48 scientific papers and lectures were presented during the conference from various public and private universities, which allows for enhancing experiences and enriching students with a lot of information that will help them in the post-graduation stage and even to pass the national exam. Based on the Arab Private University for Science and Technology's endeavor towards a healthy society, and within the direction of the university administration to cooperate with the local community and concerned authorities to spread awareness among young people about social and health scourges in their modern forms that threaten the stability and cohesion of society.The Arab Private University participated in the seminar organized by the Syrian Historical Scientific Society and the Fraternal Association Society entitled Modern Addictions and Digital Drugs, lectured by Dr. Safouh Al-Sebai, a member of the National Ministerial Committee to Combat Drugs, and a faculty member at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Adnan Younis, President of the University and Dr. Mustafa Al-Masri, Vice President for Administrative and Student Affairs.Dr. Al-Sebai stressed the need to enhance awareness to prevent the catastrophic dangers of addiction in all its forms and forms by continuing health education, spreading science and knowledge in society, consolidating spiritual values, practicing sports, developing talents in various humanitarian arts, and stimulating the positive energy of individuals permanently.Dr. Al-Sebai reviewed the types and forms of addiction that affect different ages, the most dangerous of which today is audio addiction via the Internet, which causes a person to lose balance and control and the brain conflicts that occur, indicating that the terrorism industry in the world is mainly based on such models of addicts, calling on parents to pay attention to their children from the danger of addiction to the Internet and mobile phones by organizing time to use it in scientifically correct and useful ways and directing to collective games for the child, especially those that develop his intellectual sense.
